Empowering CoachingTM is a theoretically grounded and evidence-based approach that will maximize every player's potential. Empowering coaches enhance young people's health and well-being through positive experiences in sport.

Our goal is to help grassroots coaches foster quality motivation... making youth sport more engaging, empowering and enjoyable!

The Empowering CoachingTM workshop was designed by a team of researchers from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences at the University of Birmingham, UK.Their work focuses on understanding the role of coaches and teachers in promoting or undermining young people's motivation, well-being and physical activity levels. The Empowering CoachingTMteam are committed to enhancing the youth sport experience via the promotion of empowering coaching.


Our programme is also active in France, Greece, Norway and Spain.
